Terms of service
Last updated
These terms are between Orbline LLC, trading as Merchient, 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“Merchient”, “we”), and the brand that subscribes (“the brand”).
1. The service
Merchient is for US supplement brands running Meta ads. Vera is Merchient’s claims employee. She is an AI employee. Akhil reviews the findings before every first report.
The brand gets:
- a free scan before paying anything: Vera checks the claims she reads against Meta’s ad policies and FTC and FDA guidance, and emails the riskiest line, why, a safer rewrite and how many more like it she found; replying to it gets a free first report: each risky claim quoted, with who would act on it (Meta, the FTC or the FDA) and a safe rewrite that keeps the hook;
- a brief from Vera every morning: new or changed risks, or a one-line all-clear;
- ad checks before launch: any new ad sent to Vera gets a verdict and a safe rewrite the same day;
- every week, what changed in Meta, FTC and FDA rules and what it means for the brand’s ads;
- bonus: a competitor claims watch, showing which claims rivals run and which ones disappeared;
- Akhil reviews the findings before every first report.
The free scan and the free first report read only the brand’s public ads and pages, so they need no access. After the brand joins, it takes two minutes to share the ad account with Merchient, view-only. Nothing to log in to, no software. Merchient delivers the full first report within 48 hours of connecting, counted from the share.
2. Founding terms
Founding brands pay $1,500 a month; the standard price is $3,000. Locked for 12 months while the subscription runs. Month to month, cancel any time. 5 founding places, because Akhil reviews the findings before every first report. In return for the founding price: an honest testimonial after 30 days, if the brand is happy.
3. Guarantees
Cancel within 30 days of your first payment and we refund that payment in full; once per brand.
Rejection guarantee: if Meta rejects one of the brand’s ads for a claim Vera reviewed (in a morning brief or a check before launch) and did not flag, that month’s fee is refunded or credited, the brand’s choice; it applies when the ad that ran is the text and media Vera reviewed and Meta’s notice names a claim-related policy; a claim Vera flagged, at any tier, that ran anyway is not covered.
To use either guarantee, email hello@merchient.com.
4. Billing
Billing is monthly, in advance, through Stripe.
5. Renewal and cancellation
The subscription is billed monthly, in advance, through Stripe, and renews each month until the brand cancels it. As the line beside every payment button says:
Renews monthly until you cancel; cancel any time in the billing portal or by email.
The brand can cancel at any time, in the billing portal at billing.stripe.com/p/login/9B6eVd9WubnK6IOcMBeZ200 or by emailing hello@merchient.com. Either way, cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month: the brand keeps access until then, and no further payment is taken.
Both guarantees apply to every subscription, exactly as the founding offer on our home page states them:
Cancel within 30 days of your first payment and we refund that payment in full; once per brand.
If Meta rejects one of your ads for a claim Vera reviewed (in a morning brief or a check before launch) and did not flag, that month’s fee is refunded or credited, your choice; it applies when the ad that ran is the text and media Vera reviewed and Meta’s notice names a claim-related policy; a claim Vera flagged, at any tier, that ran anyway is not covered.
6. Not legal advice
Merchient provides risk review, not legal advice. The brand stays responsible for its ads, including what it runs and what it claims. There is no promise that an account is never restricted, because Meta acts for reasons beyond claims.
7. Vera never acts in the brand’s accounts
Vera never posts, edits or pauses anything in the brand’s accounts: she reads, and she drafts. The brand makes every change to its ads. The brand can remove Merchient’s access at any time in Meta Business Suite.
8. Confidentiality
We keep the brand’s ad account data, reports, briefs and emails confidential. We use them only to provide the service, share them only with the providers listed in our privacy policy that process data for us, and disclose them otherwise only when the law requires it. We do not name the brand as a customer, or publish its testimonial, without its permission.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Merchient’s total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees the brand paid Merchient in the last three months before the claim.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page with a new date, and email subscribed brands before the change applies to them. The founding price stays locked as set out in section 2.
